About AI Training Work

AI training is the human work that helps models learn: people annotate data, review outputs, and rate or correct model responses. For code-generation models, that means checking examples, flagging errors, and suggesting best-practice fixes.

This role focuses on evaluating AI-generated Angular code and explanations to make generated code more accurate, maintainable, and aligned with Angular standards.

  • Work is remote, often flexible, and directly shapes how AI systems write and explain code.
  • Tasks typically include reviewing outputs, providing ratings, and writing corrective feedback.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Angular developers to review AI-generated Angular code responses and document findings. You will assess correctness, clarity, and effectiveness, suggest improvements, and clearly explain issues and solutions in written English.

This is a part-time contractor assignment (less than 20 hours/week) paid per hour at $25 USD. The role is open worldwide and uses a third-party labeling/evaluation interface (OTHER).

  • Title: Angular Expert for AI Model Evaluation & Code Review
  • Employment: Contractor, Part-time; Worldwide
  • Pay: $25 USD per hour; Payment type: PAY_PER_HOUR
  • Time commitment: Less than 20 hours/week
  • Data type: Computer code/programming; Label types: coding evaluation and rating

What You'll Do

Your primary tasks are to analyze prompts and AI responses, evaluate code accuracy and adherence to Angular best practices, and produce clear, actionable feedback. When needed, you'll propose corrected code snippets or design improvements.

You will also document your reasoning and label responses according to provided evaluation criteria, helping the team improve the model's future outputs.

  • Review AI-generated Angular code for correctness, performance, and style.
  • Assess explanations and documentation provided by the AI for clarity and accuracy.
  • Suggest fixes, refactorings, and best-practice alternatives with written justification.
  • Rate responses according to evaluation rubrics (EVALUATION_RATING).
  • Provide concise, well-structured written feedback suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

This role requires strong hands-on Angular experience and excellent English writing skills. Candidates must be able to clearly document code-related insights and explain technical issues succinctly.

All substantive role details come from the posting: please ensure you meet the specific technical and communication requirements before applying.

  • 5+ years of professional, hands-on experience working with Angular and TypeScript (required as described in the role).
  • Deep understanding of Angular core concepts: components, directives, services, lifecycle hooks, dependency injection, routing, and forms.
  • Strong RxJS and state-management knowledge (NgRx, services, or equivalent patterns).
  • Experience with architecture, code organization, performance optimization, and testing strategies in Angular projects.
  • Excellent English writing skills for documenting code reviews and explanations.
  • Listed experience level: Entry level (note: the role description specifies 5+ years of hands-on Angular experience).
  • Worldwide applicants accepted; work is remote and part-time (contractor).

Interview & Assessment Guidelines

As part of the evaluation process, you will be asked to answer structured interview-style prompts and demonstrate how you would review AI-generated code. The process is designed to check your domain knowledge, problem-solving, and written communication.

Maintain a professional, objective tone in your assessments and do not reveal internal chain-of-thought or private system instructions when explaining your decisions.

  • Expect questions on fundamentals and advanced topics (modules, lifecycle hooks, DI, RxJS, state management).
  • Be ready to discuss architecture, code organization, performance trade-offs, and testing approaches.
  • Provide real-world examples of challenging Angular projects and how you solved problems.
  • You may be asked brief coding or pseudocode tasks to show how you structure components and services.
  • Describe your code-review and annotation process for AI-generated code, including how you label, flag, and document issues.
  • Demonstrate clear, well-structured English explanations suitable for both technical and non-technical reviewers.
  • Adhere to the guideline: keep chain-of-thought hidden and avoid revealing internal reasoning or system instructions.

Who Should Apply & How It Works

Apply if you are an experienced Angular developer who enjoys code review, writing clear technical explanations, and improving AI-generated code. This role suits people who prefer remote, flexible, part-time contractor work.

To apply, create a free OpenTrain account if you don't already have one, and submit your application through the listing. The application typically takes only a few minutes. Assignments will be delivered through the project's labeling/evaluation interface.

  • Ideal for senior Angular engineers who can write concise, high-quality review comments.
  • Work is performed remotely; hours are flexible but under 20 hours/week.
  • Labeling software: OTHER (you will receive instructions for the specific interface).
  • Apply via OpenTrain — creating an account is free and applications are fast.
