About OpenTrain

OpenTrain aggregates data-labeling and AI-training opportunities in one place so contributors can find relevant jobs without hunting across many sites. Creating an OpenTrain account is free and applying takes only a few minutes.

This listing is for a project managed via OpenTrain AI that asks skilled developers to help evaluate and improve AI-generated Angular v17 code and to assess other candidates’ technical fit.

Why AI Training Work Matters

AI models learn from examples and human feedback. Tasks like reviewing generated code, annotating responses, and giving structured corrections are how models become accurate, safe, and useful.

This project focuses on the programming domain: your assessments and labels will directly shape how AI assists Angular developers in the future.

  • Remote and flexible work — contribute from anywhere with internet access.
  • Work influences real AI behavior and developer tooling.

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Angular v17 developer to evaluate AI-generated prompts and responses, label and categorize code outputs, and provide clear, structured feedback to improve model behavior.

This is a contractor, part-time role (less than 20 hours/week), paid per hour at USD 20/hr. The project is worldwide and fully remote; labeling software will be provided (listed as Other).

  • Pay: PAY_PER_HOUR, USD 20/hour.
  • Time commitment: Less than 20 hours per week.
  • Employment type: Contractor / Part-time.
  • Data type: COMPUTER_CODE_PROGRAMMING; Label types: COMPUTER_PROGRAMMING_CODING.

What You’ll Do

Analyze AI-generated Angular v17 prompts and responses for correctness, relevance, and alignment with best practices. Provide detailed corrections, suggested improvements, and identify errors in code or explanations.

Conduct technical evaluations of candidates applying to similar roles: verify experience claims, run a short hands-on troubleshooting/code-fix exercise, and assess English communication and documentation skills.

  • Label and categorize AI responses according to accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide clear, structured feedback and suggested fixes for code and explanations.
  • Identify security, performance, or maintainability issues in generated code.
  • Run technical interviews and score candidates against the project’s guidelines.

Interview & Assessment Guidelines

You will follow a structured interview to assess technical depth, hands-on experience with Angular v17, and clarity of English technical writing. The guidelines below will be used to accept or reject candidates for the evaluation pool.

Interviews should be practical and evidence-based — ask for examples, code samples, and concrete explanations rather than generic answers.

  • Experience check: verify at least 5+ years hands-on Angular experience and recent v17 work.
  • Project probe: ask about real-world Angular v17 implementations and recent responsibilities.
  • Feature deep-dive: probe Deferrable Views, Hydration, and Standalone Components with practical examples.
  • Performance & debugging: evaluate familiarity with optimizations, debugging strategies, and Angular best practices.
  • Code exercise: present a short Angular v17 snippet containing a deliberate issue and ask the candidate to identify and fix it.
  • Pitfalls & Signals: ask about common v17 pitfalls and test understanding of Signals and new reactivity patterns.
  • AI-eval skills: ask how they would analyze, correct, and enhance an AI-generated Angular v17 response and what criteria they’d use.
  • Communication check: require the candidate to explain a complex v17 feature (e.g., Hydration or Signals) in simple English.
  • Final checks: ask about prior experience reviewing AI-generated code and confirm availability for structured labeling tasks.

Requirements

Mandatory: at least 5 years of hands-on Angular experience with demonstrable, recent work in Angular v17 and deep familiarity with v17 features such as Deferrable Views, Hydration, Standalone Components, and Signals/reactivity.

Strong English writing and communication skills are required because you will produce structured feedback and conduct interviews in English.

  • Must be able to explain and demonstrate practical solutions and show real project examples.
  • Must be available for part-time contractor work (under 20 hrs/week) and willing to complete labeling tasks.
  • Candidates who provide vague, theoretical, or non-practical answers should be screened out.

How It Works — Logistics & Next Steps

Apply via OpenTrain; you may be asked to complete a short screening exercise and an interview following the guidelines above. Accepted contributors will receive access to the project workspace and labeling interface (OTHER).

Payments are hourly at USD 20/hour (PAY_PER_HOUR). This is a contractor role; you are responsible for your own taxes and compliance with local regulations.

  • Worldwide applicants welcome — work remotely.
  • Labeling software: OTHER (project will provide access details).
  • You will be asked to confirm prior experience reviewing AI-generated code during the interview.
