The task — exactly what you’ll record

You will record 11 specific trigger words. Each word must be recorded 12 times under the conditions below, for a total of 132 recordings.

Every recording must include one second of silence before and after the spoken word, be free of background noise (other than the intended reflective environment effect), and be clear and audible.

• Per word: 4 takes in a quiet indoor space (varying speed and tone).
• Per word: 4 takes in a reflective space (bathroom, hallway) to capture reverberation.
• Per word: 4 emotional takes in a quiet environment — angry, scared/panicked, worried, and excited.
• Total per word = 12 recordings; 11 words × 12 = 132 clips.

Requirements — what you must have and do

Location: You must be located in a Spanish-speaking country. A Hispanic English accent is preferred; advanced English skills are not required.

You must be available to complete the task within the next 1–2 weeks and be able to follow exact instructions (including the required one-second silences).

• Basic English speaking skills sufficient to pronounce short words (enough to produce 1–3 record clips as required).
• Reliable equipment: good-quality microphone or headphones with built-in mic to capture clear audio.
• Quiet recording environment plus access to a reflective indoor space (bathroom, hallway) with no background noise.
• Attention to detail and basic technical skills to record and save audio files in the format specified by the project.

Payment, timing, and other logistics

Pay: flat $9.24 will be provided upon successful completion and submission of all required recordings, per the project instructions.

Time estimate: about one hour to complete all recordings; this is an urgent short-term project and must be finished within 1–2 weeks of assignment.
