About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building practical AI systems. For coding projects, contributors write, review, and correct code examples so models learn to generate accurate and safe programmatic output.
The role
We are hiring experienced C# developers for an ongoing AI training project. This contract, part-time role is fully remote and worldwide. You'll produce high-quality C# code examples and fix AI-generated C# to create training data that helps improve model performance.
This is a long-term engagement of 6 or more months with a flexible schedule requiring a 20–40 hour weekly commitment. Pay is hourly at USD 9 per hour. After you submit a proposal you will receive a C# coding assessment to complete as part of the selection process.
- Employment type: Contractor, Part-time
- Workload: 20–40 hours per week, flexible schedule
- Duration: 6+ months
- Pay: $9 USD per hour
- Worldwide applicants accepted; fully remote
What you'll do
Daily tasks focus on creating, debugging, and refining C# code so AI models learn correct patterns and idioms. Work is task-driven: follow prompts, produce code, and review model outputs against requirements.
- Write code snippets and short programs in C# from given prompts.
- Review and debug AI-generated C# code to fix logic, syntax, and style issues.
- Refine and optimize C# examples to meet specified constraints and best practices.
- Create accurate, well-documented training examples that can be used to teach models.
Requirements
Candidates must meet all listed requirements to be considered. Submissions will be scored and applicants without the required experience may receive lower proposal scores.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on C#.
- Proven ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize C# code.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well in a remote team environment.
- Stable internet connection and reliable electricity for consistent remote work.
- Ability to commit 20–40 hours per week for at least 6 months.
Who should apply
Apply if you are a C# developer who enjoys coding, debugging, and producing clear examples that teach machines. This role fits contractors looking for flexible, part-time remote work and who meet the degree and experience requirements.
- Developers with a background in professional C# projects and strong problem-solving skills.
- Remote workers seeking a predictable weekly commitment and a multi-month engagement.
- People interested in contributing directly to how AI systems learn to write and fix code.
How it works
Submit your proposal through OpenTrain. After submission you will receive a C# coding assessment to complete. Selections are based on your proposal, assessment performance, and the required qualifications.
