The role
We’re hiring Egocentric Video Data Collection Specialists to record POV (first-person) video of routine activities from a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses. This is entry-level, contractor work with onboarding and clear recording guidelines provided.
Record raw, unedited first-person video of everyday tasks (cooking, cleaning, organizing, desk work, errands, etc.).
Work remotely from your home or workspace environment while keeping hands and objects visible in frame.
What you’ll do
Wear a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses and record POV footage while performing normal daily activities.
Follow simple recording guidelines to ensure tasks, hands, and objects are visible and captured consistently.
Upload raw, unedited video files through the provided upload process.
Complete assignments for multiple activities as requested during onboarding.
Requirements
Own a smartphone compatible with head-mounted recording or access to smart glasses.
Access to a real home or workspace where normal daily activities can be recorded.
Ability to follow detailed recording instructions and stick to guidelines.
Reliable, detail-oriented approach to capturing and uploading footage on schedule.
No prior technical experience required; training and onboarding will be provided.

This is contract, part-time work paid per hour. Pay rate: $6 USD per hour. Expected time commitment: 20+ hours per week, though specific schedules are flexible within assignment windows.
