About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human work that teaches models to understand images and other data. For vision projects, annotators draw shapes or add tags so models learn to recognize objects and surfaces.
This project is a visual annotation task focused on guitar fretboards and related parts.
- Fully remote: work from anywhere.
- Flexible: projects are often task-based so you can work when you choose.
- Accessible: many projects are entry-level; careful following of instructions matters more than prior industry experience.
The Role
Annotate guitar images using Label Studio with polygon labels. This is a contract, entry-level project open to contributors worldwide.
Payment for the project is a fixed price of USD 500. The work focuses on detailed polygon and box annotations on image data.
- Job type: Contractor
- Experience level: Entry level
- Location: Worldwide
- Data type: IMAGE
- Label types: POLYGON (polygons/boxes allowed where specified)
- Labeling software: LABEL_STUDIO
- Pay: Fixed price USD 500
What You'll Do
Follow the labeling instructions in Label Studio and apply polygon/box annotations exactly as specified for each image.
- Annotate each fret: draw one polygon per fret across the entire fretboard.
- Annotate the fretboard as a whole: draw one polygon or box covering the main playing surface.
- Annotate the nut: draw a single box or polygon at the top of the fretboard.
- The hand of a player should be excluded from annotations.
Requirements
This project’s role details and constraints must be followed exactly; the job is set up for entry-level contributors and requires using Label Studio with polygon labels.
- Experience level: Entry level (suitable for annotators new to data labeling)
- Labeling software: LABEL_STUDIO (you will perform annotations there)
- Label type: POLYGON (use polygons and boxes as specified)
- Data: IMAGE (guitar-focused imagery)
- Employment type: CONTRACTOR
- Location: Open worldwide
- Project pay: Fixed price USD 500
Who Should Apply
