We list roles across annotation, coding, transcription, evaluation, and other human-in-the-loop tasks that help train modern AI systems.

  • Centralized job board for AI-training and data-labeling work.
  • Free to join and quick to apply.
  • Jobs span many skill levels and specializations, including programming and coding datasets.

About AI Training Work

AI training (also called data labeling, annotation, or human feedback) is the human side of building AI: people create, evaluate, and refine examples that models learn from. For coding projects, that means writing and reviewing code snippets, fixing AI-generated code, and producing datasets that teach models correct behavior.

This work is typically remote, flexible, and meaningful: contributors directly influence how models perform and respond in real-world scenarios.

  • Create and review examples that teach AI how to write and fix code.
  • Flexible, remote work suitable for many schedules.
  • Accessible roles can require only language fluency and attention to detail; specialist coding work pays for expertise.

The Role

We are hiring Kotlin developers for a long-term AI-training project to author Kotlin code examples and debug Kotlin produced by AI. You will help build accurate training datasets and ensure AI-generated Kotlin meets defined standards.

This is a contractor, part-time engagement classified as entry level but requiring hands-on Kotlin experience. The role is fully remote and open to applicants worldwide.

  • Position: Kotlin Programmer — create and debug Kotlin code for AI training.
  • Engagement: Long-term (6+ months), contract, part-time.
  • Weekly commitment: 20–40 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
  • Pay: $9.50 USD per hour.

What You'll Do

Daily work focuses on producing high-quality Kotlin code examples, troubleshooting AI-generated code, and improving dataset quality so models learn correct patterns and idioms.

  • Write short programs and code snippets in Kotlin based on specific prompts.
  • Debug and refine Kotlin code generated by AI to meet project standards.
  • Develop and document training examples and edge cases for model learning.
  • Optimize code for clarity, correctness, and best practices.
  • Follow project guidelines for labeling, formatting, and quality control.

Requirements

Candidates must meet all substantive requirements listed below. We will send a Kotlin coding assessment after you submit your proposal; completion is required for evaluation.

  • Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of professional software development with a strong focus on Kotlin.
  • Scoring note: Applicants with less than 2 years of Kotlin experience should receive less than a 7 score on their proposal qualification score.
  • Skills: Proven ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize Kotlin code.
  • Communication: Effective English communication skills.
  • Remote work needs: Stable internet connection and reliable electricity.
  • Availability: Ability to commit 20–40 hours per week for 6 months or more.

Project Details & Working Conditions

This project uses a code-focused annotation workflow (data type: computer code programming; label types: COMPUTER_PROGRAMMING_CODING). The labeling software is listed as OTHER; you will receive platform-specific instructions after onboarding.

You will work remotely as a contractor and set much of your own schedule within the weekly hours. The project emphasizes accuracy, consistent formatting, and clear code documentation.

  • Data type: COMPUTER_CODE_PROGRAMMING; label types: COMPUTER_PROGRAMMING_CODING.
  • Labeling software: OTHER (platform and instructions provided after onboarding).
  • Work style: Remote, flexible hours, contractor/part-time engagement.
  • Location: Open to candidates worldwide.

How To Apply

Submit your proposal through the OpenTrain application flow. After submission you will receive a Kotlin coding assessment that must be completed for consideration.
