About AI training and audio projects
AI training relies on recordings and transcriptions made by people. Your voice samples help teach models to understand and generate natural-sounding German.
This project is a focused audio-collection task: quick, entry-level, and meaningful work that directly shapes how speech-enabled systems perform.
- Tasks like this are typically remote and flexible, letting you work from anywhere with a compatible device.
- Many projects require no prior experience — attention to detail and clear pronunciation are most important.
The role: short voice recording session
We are looking for strictly native German (Germany) speakers who own an Android device to record 100–150 short sentences. The app is not compatible with iPhones, so an Android phone is mandatory.
Each participant completes one recording session only. The task typically takes about one hour and will be reviewed by the client for authenticity and quality before any payment is issued.
- Task: Record 100–150 short sentences (AUDIO_RECORDING).
- Device: Android phone required — iPhones are not supported.
- Session length: Around 1 hour; each person may submit only once.
- Pay: $17.50 per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR).
- Work type: Contractor / Part-time; entry-level; less than 20 hours/week.
What you'll do
In a single session you will read aloud and record the short sentences provided in the recording interface. Follow the prompts shown in the app and submit your recordings when complete.
After submission, the client reviews each recording for genuine German pronunciation and overall quality. Only submissions that pass the verification are eligible for payment.
- Record 100–150 prompted sentences in one session.
- Submit your session once — multiple submissions are not allowed.
- Recordings will be checked for native pronunciation and authenticity.
Requirements
You must meet every requirement below to be eligible for this project and payment. If you do not meet these, please do not apply.
The client enforces strict verification; incomplete or inauthentic submissions will be rejected and will not be paid.
- Strictly native German (Germany) speaker — non-native speakers will not be compensated.
- Own and use an Android device for the recording application (iPhone/iOS not supported).
- Available to record 100–150 short sentences in about one hour and submit one session.
- Entry-level experience is sufficient; attention to correct German pronunciation is essential.
How screening, review, and payment work
During application we will verify your eligibility (native language and Android ownership). After you complete and submit the recordings, the client reviews all files for pronunciation authenticity and quality.
Only recordings that pass the client’s checks will be compensated. The project uses a non-standard (OTHER) recording app for Android as provided by the client.
- You may be asked to confirm native language proficiency and Android device ownership during screening.
- Submissions are subject to a strict verification process; failing verification means no payment.
- Pay rate: $17.50 per hour; typical session lasts about one hour, paid on a per-hour basis per the project's terms.
