The role

You will use a client-supplied Android app to record about 500 short voice commands in Italian. Before beginning you must sign a consent form and follow written instructions supplied in English.

This is a contractor, part-time assignment with a one-time fixed payment. The client requires completion within the project window specified below.

What you'll do

Complete the readings and recordings using the provided Android application. Aim for clear, natural speech and follow any prompts or quality checks in the app. A short audio sample may be required before hiring to verify language/accent requirements.

Requirements

Applicants must meet all listed client requirements. Note: the job description contains two language-location statements — both are included here exactly as provided. Please ensure you meet every requirement before applying.

  • Must be a native Italian speaker based in Italy (from the project description)
  • Additional client requirement (as provided): Must be a native Spanish speaker with a European accent; applicants will submit an audio recording prior to hiring to verify this
  • Android device required: Android OS version 9 or higher
  • Ability to read and follow instructions provided in English
  • Must be comfortable reading aloud and recording ~500 short voice commands
  • Must be able to start immediately and complete all recordings by December 10th
  • Pre-hire audio sample required for verification
  • If applicant does not have a European accent, proposal score should receive a 2 or below (per client notes)

How it works & payment

This is a fixed-price contract: you will be paid a one-time $51 for completing the assignment. The work is expected to take about 2 hours and counts as less than 20 hours/week. The client provides the recording app and instructions; you provide a quiet environment and an Android device (Android 9+).
