The role — short audio recording project

We are hiring native French speakers with a European accent to read and record about 500 short voice commands using a client-provided Android app. The project is remote and should take approximately 2 hours to complete.

This is a fixed-price, contractor role. You will sign a consent form and follow English-language instructions provided by the client.

• Project length: ~2 hours of active recording.

What you'll do

You will read aloud and record roughly 500 short voice commands shown in the Android app. Recordings will be collected for voice recognition model training.

• Read each prompt naturally and clearly in European-accented French.
• Submit recordings through the app as instructed.

Requirements

All requirements below are mandatory and will be verified before hiring.

Applicants who cannot meet these requirements will not be selected.

• Native French speaker with a European accent; a short sample recording will be requested to verify accent.
• Android device running Android 9 (Pie) or higher is required to use the client's recording app.
• Ability to read and follow instructions provided in English.
• Comfortable reading aloud and recording approximately 500 short commands.
• No prior experience required; entry-level project.

Payment, schedule, and employment type

Compensation is a fixed price of USD 55.25 for the completed task. This is a contractor, part-time engagement.

Estimated effort is about 2 hours; the project must be finished within one week of assignment. The role is open worldwide but only suitable applicants (native European-accented French speakers with compatible Android devices) will be accepted.
