The role

Short audio data-collection project: read and record around 500 short voice commands using a mobile Android app provided by the client. The task takes approximately 2 hours total and can be completed entirely online from your own location.

This is an entry-level, contract, part-time gig paid as a fixed price for the completed work.

• Fixed payment: $51 USD for the completed recording session.
• Estimated time: about 2 hours; must be completed within 1 week of assignment.
• Employment type: Contractor, part-time; less than 20 hours/week.

What you'll do

You will use the client's Android app to read aloud and record each prompt. Follow the provided instructions carefully to ensure clear, usable audio samples.

• Read and record approximately 500 short voice commands using the Android app.
• Follow instructions and recording guidelines provided in English.
• Sign the required consent form before recording begins.

Requirements

All requirements below are mandatory and will be verified during screening.

• Native Spanish speaker with a European accent; you must submit a short audio sample prior to being hired to verify accent.
• Android device required with Android OS version 9 or higher.
• Ability to read and follow instructions provided in English.
• Comfortable reading aloud and recording the required prompts.
• If you don't have a European accent, you should receive a 2 or below on your proposal score.
• If you don't have an Android device (Android 9+), you should receive a 2 or below on your proposal score.

How it works

Apply through OpenTrain and submit the requested screening audio sample so the client can verify your European Spanish accent. If accepted, you'll sign a consent form (in English), install the client's Android recording app, and complete the recording session within the one-week window.

• Step 1: Apply and attach a short voice sample for accent verification.
• Step 2: If selected, review and sign the consent form provided in English.
• Step 3: Install the Android app (Android 9+), follow on-screen instructions, and record ~500 prompts.
• Step 4: Submit recordings through the app; payment is issued as the fixed-price completion.
