About AI training and why this work matters
AI training (also called data labeling, data annotation, or human feedback work) is the human side of building artificial intelligence. People annotate code samples, rate responses, and categorize technical content so models learn to produce accurate and safe outputs.
This project focuses on code and technical writing: your annotations will help improve developer tools, educational materials, and research datasets that power next-generation software and learning applications.
The role
We are seeking Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) based in India to work as Labelers on specialized code and software topics. You will review, categorize, and annotate technical content to ensure accuracy and clarity, helping build high-quality datasets for models, tools, and educational content.
This is a contract, part-time position paid at USD 25 per hour. You must commit to at least 20 hours per week; during interview you will be asked to provide an exact weekly-hours commitment.
- Employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
- Pay: $25 USD per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR).
- Data type: Computer code and programming content.
- Label types: Computer programming/coding annotation and prompt/response writing (SFT).
- Labeling software: Project-specific tools (OTHER).

What you'll do
Perform careful review, categorization, and annotation of technical content in your chosen specialty so models and educational resources reflect correct, precise information.

- Apply your subject-matter expertise to judge correctness and clarity of code snippets, explanations, or UI/UX content.
- Follow detailed annotation guidelines and quality checks provided by the project.
