We are seeking native Tamil speakers for an audio annotation project. This contract role involves listening to audio recordings, labeling speech segments, and producing accurate transcriptions while following provided project guidelines.

You will use the project's internal proprietary tooling to complete classification and segmentation labels. This is an entry-level opportunity with no prior experience required.

What You’ll Do

Day-to-day you'll review short audio clips, mark speech segments, and transcribe spoken content accurately according to the project guidelines.

• Listen carefully to audio recordings in Tamil and identify speech boundaries.
• Transcribe spoken content accurately, preserving intended words and meaning.
• Apply classification labels where required (e.g., speech vs. non-speech, speaker IDs if applicable).
• Follow the project's annotation guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality data.

Requirements

You must meet every requirement listed below to be considered for this project.

• Native Tamil speaker (fluency in Tamil required).
• No prior annotation experience needed — entry-level friendly.
• Stable and reliable with the ability to work approximately 3–5 hours daily.
• Basic proficiency with Google Sheets for simple tracking or metadata tasks.
• Access to a computer and reliable internet to use the internal annotation tool.
• Available to work remotely from anywhere in the world (project is worldwide).
